MikeFest began as a conversation between friends who missed their brother, best friend, mentor, and loved one. 

"You know what Mike would like? For us all to gather in the summer, each year, to celebrate his life. Not morn, no, celebrate. Mikey would like that"

And, so, we'll do what MOH would like.
