MikeFest began as a conversation between friends who missed their brother, best friend, mentor, and loved one.
"You know what Mike would like? For us all to get together in the summer, each year, to celebrate his life. Not morn, no, celebrate. Mikey would like that"
And, so, we'll do what Mike would like.

Yearly, a board of volunteers will aid in coordinating MikeFest. Along with MikeFest, other events will be coordinated to honor Mike, providing more opportunities to become involved.

Our Mission
Our mission is simple, to continue the memory of our beloved Mike, Forever.
Throughout the years, we'll join to honor the memory of our friend, brother, son, father and devoted husband, Michael Jude O'Hearn (MOH). In doing so, we strive to commemorate the love Mike had, not just for friends & family, but especially his girls.

MikeFest is the Pinnacle event of each year. The venues will change, the actives will become grander, but rest assured we will eat, drink, smoke meats, and celebrate the life of our friend, MOH.

Baseball Games, BBQ, dinners at famed Chicago restaurant are just a small example of activities Mike loved(Truly a man of "Leisure"and fine taste).
